Benefits of exercise on an elliptical trainer.

Elliptical cross trainers are an excellent piece of equipment, due to the low impact workout that places minimum strain on the joints. Cross trainers also work nearly every muscle group and are great for toning the middle region and burning calories. One advantage of exercising on an elliptical trainer is they are easier on joints causing fewer injuries then other machines. If you are overweight the added impact of running on a treadmill can cause injury to your knees and ankles. Whether at home or a gym, they are probably the healthiest, least impact form of cardio-training.
